And so Olympics became history, but for first time it wasn’t just about sport. Other Olympic Games took place in cities that are not really famous for their fashion or designers… Guess nobody can name a world-famous designer from Athens or Atlanta. This year was different… London is one of world’s most iconic fashion capitals… McQueen, Westwood, Smith, Beckham and the list goes on… Another brand new thing this time was the presence (not just during the opening ceremony) of gorgeous new Royals – the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge… Of course all eyes were on Kate… Her choice of clothing was ranging from Team GB sport wear at the matches, to very elegant designer dresses. Like the one from Christopher Kane for the state reception in Buckingham Palace… She definitely knows what and when is appropriate, which is crucial to hold a title of a fashion icon… And on top of that, a beautiful sun tan from her recent holidays… Your Highness, well done!
